Zineb Davila - United States

Zineb Davila was born in La Habana, in a town called San José de las Lajas. His musical journey started when he was a little boy, showing a special interest for Mexican music.

In 2001, he took home his first award by placing first place in his province, then going on to win the “Jorge Negrete National Prize”, celebrated in La Habana. That honor gave him the opportunity to appear in Mexico on “Vida TV” a TV show for Televisa.

A couple years ago, Zineb traveled to the United States and appeared on the popular TV show “Sabado Gigante” with Don Francisco. He took first place in the “Reyes del Chacal” section of the show which gave him instant popularity in Miami. Zineb capitalized on this popularity and landed a role on “Coro Millonario” (Millionaire Choir).

Zineb will be representing the United States on the reality show “Batalla de las Americas”.

1. Do you like to sing in the shower? And if so, what songs?

La malagueña (Mexico).

2. If you could trade places with somebody, who would you do it with?

I don’t think I would ever change anything, I like being me.

3. When you were a kid, what did you used to do to make your mother angry?

Being Hyperactive and Energetic

4. What is the most embarrassing thing that has happened to you?

Dreaming I go to the bathroom only to realize I peed myself while I was asleep one time in College.

Losing my loved ones

6. What was one of the happiest times in your life?

When I´m with my family having a good time.

7. Did you have a nickname when you were a kid? And what was it?

Yes “El Loquito” (little crazy boy)

8. If you could ask for one wish, what would it be?

Getting the chance to show the world my talent.

The Brazilian carnival

A girl.
